Welcome to Grumpy Pete's

Our camping and caravan site is in North Cornwall near Bude and is also convienent for visitors to North Devon attractions like Clovelly and the Milky Way. Grumpy Pete's Bar is our small friendly bar, it is family friendly and is open from Easter to September, although in the quieter weeks we may open only at weekends.  Grumpy Pete stocks a range of bottled beers, from local Cornish breweries such as the St Austell Brewery and Skinners, Brothers Pear cider and Corona lager.  On draft we have Carlsberg, Tetley Bitter and the excellent Dortmunder pils.

Our wine cellar includes a range of wines, with labels both familiar and new,   and there are the usual range of spirits and soft drinks.

For those who need a jolt of caffeine to get going in the mornings we serve freshly ground Italian coffee, and our real hot chocolate makes a popular night-cap (all day long) remember to ask for whippy cream and marshmallows.

The Bar is WiFi enabled allowing wireless Internet connection (small charge applies) from the bar our surrounding pitches.  And we also have 2 PC's in the bar area which are available for the use of guests wishing to catch up on Facebook, or that hot item on Ebay.

Should you ever be faced with the odd evening of inclement weather Grumpy Pete's Bar is a welcome haven.  There are a range of board games available to play, from Cluedo to Jenga, but the Monopoly is best left in the box unless you are ready for a long session.

Budemeadows is a family campsite which caters for tents, motorhomes and caravans.  The camp site is situated conveniently off the A39 'Atlantic Highway' which provides good access to the rest of Cornwall and the delights of North Devon.
